A group exercise session brings LNK employees together to stay active
For many office workers, spending hours in front of a computer and remaining in the same position throughout the day has become part of the daily routine. This habit can be associated with various physical discomforts. A systematic review of computer users found that the prevalence of work-related musculoskeletal disorders among workers ranged from 33.8% to 95.3%, with the lower back, neck, upper back, and shoulders being among the most commonly affected areas. Factors such as insufficient physical activity, prolonged computer use, and poor working posture have also been associated with these conditions.
Amid these routines, staying healthy is not only about maintaining a balanced diet, but also about keeping the body active. Regular physical activity can help reduce the risk of various non-communicable diseases, including heart disease, stroke, and type 2 diabetes, while also supporting physical and mental well-being.
In line with its vision and mission, PT Lautan Natural Krimerindo (LNK) encourages employees to take an active role in caring for their health. Supporting employee well-being goes beyond promoting healthy eating habits and also includes maintaining physical fitness.
To support this, LNK provides employees with a variety of sports and physical activities that can become part of their everyday routines. From group exercise and yoga to badminton, futsal, and running, these activities give employees the opportunity to stay active based on their individual interests.
Moving Together, Staying Active

All sports activities at LNK are open to employees across departments, from badminton, futsal, tennis, running, yoga, and group exercise. These activities give employees the opportunity to stay active based on their interests while connecting with colleagues from different functions.
Hopefully, these activities can help employees make physical activity part of their daily routine, especially for those who spend much of their working hours sitting. The WHO recommends reducing sedentary time by moving more, while regular physical activity also supports physical and mental health.
Beyond supporting physical fitness, exercising together also creates opportunities to interact, support one another, and build teamwork outside daily work routines. By staying active together, employees can maintain their well-being while strengthening a sense of togetherness at work.
Making an Active Lifestyle Part of Everyday Life

Supporting employee health is not only about providing a range of activities, but also about creating the space and opportunities for employees to develop an active lifestyle.
Through the various sports and physical activities available, LNK strives to support employees in staying active and maintaining their fitness. Moving forward, LNK hopes to see more employees keep moving and consistently embrace healthier lifestyle habits.
At LNK, staying healthy is part of the journey toward #BetteringYourWorld.
