June Roundup : A sustainable future isn’t built overnight. Knowing there’s no better time than now to start it, we at PT Lautan Natural Krimerindo spent June with several activities that inspired our employees to create positive impacts on our surroundings.
From holding a blood donation event to planting trees to raising awareness of stunting, we tried our best to support employee well-being while also contributing to society and the environment. But those weren’t the only things we did in June! Find out more as you read our full article below!
Blood donation event
In conjunction with the World Blood Donor Day of 2024, we invited all employees of PT Lautan Natural Krimerindo to donate their blood. We managed to gather 72 bags of blood following the event, which was held in partnership with the Indonesian Red Cross in Mojokerto on Friday, June 14th.
The World Blood Donor Day this year went with the theme “20 Years of Celebrating Giving: Thank You, Blood Donors”. In addition to raising awareness of health benefits of blood donation, according to WHO this year’s celebration was designed to “thank voluntary, unpaid blood donors for their life-saving gifts of blood.”
“A blood service that gives patients access to safe blood and blood products in sufficient quantity is a key component of an effective health system,” said WHO as stated in their website.
Medical check-up for employees
This was our other attempt to ensure our employees’ well-being. Not only did we look to determine whether they’re fit for work, we also had screening tests done on them for early detection of potential health issues. Because the sooner a disease gets detected and the sooner the patient gets medical assistance, the better.
HSE Week 
We hosted the HSE Week for four subsidieries of PT Lautan Luas Tbk. Along with representatives from Lautan Air, Dunia Kimia Jaya, and Liku Telaga, we declared our commitment for safe and healthy workplace in order to create sustainability and green industry.

During the event on June 21st at our Mojosari, Mojokerto office, the four companies presented the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) practices they’d carried out so far. Then, they went on to set new targets to increase the performance of OHS at their respective companies. They also managed to learn how to create a green industry from a practitioner with proven experience.
Reforestation effort
Proving that we’re all for a green future, we donated 300 mango trees to residents around the Company’s factory in Mojosari, Mojokerto. Part of our Creating Shared Values program, this activity was expected to help those people improve their economy. As the tree will yield quality mangoes which they can consume or sell for extra income.
Ministry of Industry hosts technical guidance of Industrial revolution 4.0
A total of 37 reps from various businesses in the F&B industry in Indonesia took part in a technical guidance (Bimtek) regarding the Industrial Revolution 4.0 at our Company. This event was hosted by the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia in a bid to prepare business owners for inevitable global challenges that will come with digital transformation.
During the visit to LNK, participants were also invited to join a factory tour and learn how LNK as a National Lighthouse implemented Industry 4.0 Revolution principles in its business – starting from the implementation of Internet of Things (IoT) to using big data for increasing efficiency in all aspects.
Factory visit from the Public Works Department
We also welcomed the Public Works Department of Mojokerto Regency to our Company for a factory visit. During the event the members were introduced to some of the products we’re manufacturing, including FiberCreme and RichCreme, before they were taken to tour our production area.
Next, they’re also treated to a cooking demo that allows them to learn how to use our products. Later, they got to try the food and drink made by our chef with our products.
Donation for stunting awareness
At 21.6%, the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia is quite high. Lack of nutritious foods and low vitamins & mineral intake contribute to the high number of stunting. As part of our commitment to improve the quality of lives of children residing around our factory, we handed out packages of healthy foods to reps of Simbaringin Village in Mojokerto, where a total of 28 toddlers had been diagnosed with the condition.
We hope this donation will help children and we hope in the future every kid in the country will have better access to healthy food so they can avoid stunting.
Celebration for June-born employees
It’s time for June gang to get celebrated! Towards the end of the month, everyone who was born in June gathered for a joint birthday party, which included fun games, live performances, and of course delicious food from LeCrea Catering.
