Understanding the industry goes beyond knowing how a product is made. It also involves learning about the business processes, innovation, and collaboration that drive a company forward. This was the experience of Business Administration students from UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur during their visit to PT Lautan Natural Krimerindo (LNK) on June 23, 2026.
The visit introduced students to LNK’s business operations, from its overall business processes to the role of Research & Business Development in developing innovative food ingredient solutions. Through presentations and interactive discussions with the LNK team, students gained valuable insights into how the company drives innovation, develops business strategies, and delivers solutions that meet the evolving needs of the food industry.
One of the highlights of the visit was a sharing session with an LNK employee who is also an alumnus of UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur. During the session, students learned about his career journey, experienced insights into working in the manufacturing industry, and gained a better understanding of the skills and competencies needed to succeed in a professional workplace.
The discussion was highly engaging, with students actively asking questions about product development, business strategies, and career opportunities in the food industry. The interactive exchange provided not only valuable knowledge but also inspiration as the students prepare for their future careers.
