PT Lautan Natural Krimerindo is working hard to accelerate digitalization in all aspects as it’s getting ready to compete with quality products from all around the world. Supported by Ministry of Industri as well as GAPMMI, which is a platform for food and beverage producers in Indonesia, the creamer manufacturer is planning on relying heavily on technology to continue making innovations that answer people’s needs.
Digitalization at PT LNK was actually started in 2019. Initially meant to integrate all departments to make production process easier, technology at the Company was accelerated later in 2020 following the Covid-19 pandemic that created physical distances and slowed down the growth of national economy.
PT LNK’s commitment to technology was appreciated by the Ministry of Industry of Republic of Indonesia, which gave the Company INDI 4.0 Award in 2021 and National Lighthouse 4.0 in the following year. Then in 2023, the government will bring along PT LNK as one of Indonesia’s representatives to Hannover-Messe, an international technology exhibition set to take place April 17-21 in Hannover, Germany.
During a media gathering Wendesday, March 15, 2023 in Surabaya, PT LNK’s Director Hendrik Gunawan said by joining the Hannover event, LNK can help bring international attention to Indonesian products.
“Indonesia is a big country with a lot of resources that make very good products,” said Hendrik, who went on to mention that FiberCreme had become an Indonesian brand with patent from the Food and Drugs Association of the United States of America.
“[In Hannover-Messe] we would love to join forces with other Indonesian representatives to show the world that Indonesia is ready to serve customers from all around the world,” he added.
In line with Hendrik’s statement, Leader of GAPMMI Adhi Lukman mentioned that the global food and beverage industry had been developing rapidly. As a country rich of natural resources, Indonesia has all the potential to produce high-quality goods.

In support of that, however, there’s an urge to increase efficiency and productivity. This is where technology plays a huge part. That’s why the government launched the Making Indonesia 4.0 program that’s aimed to accelerate the growth of seven main sectors, including food and beverages.
“The Making Indonesia 4.0 program is a step that Indonesia must take to improve the Country’s competitiveness. The government offers many ways to support industries, one of which is facilitating companies to show what it’s got in Hannover-Messe,” said Director General of Agriculture Industry Putu Juli Ardika during the same media gathering.
In Hannover-Messe PT LNK is expected to represent the current state of industry in Indonesia and attract more investors from all over the world.
“We hope PT LNK can showcase the technology that’s been implemented in the production process, while at the same time informing visitors of the exhibition that Indonesia has adopted advanced technology to support the manufacturing of safe and competitive food & beverage products.
